Yeah, it's a little confounded. Weeghman Park opened in 1914 as home to the Federal League's Chicago Whales. They lasted two seasons, and then the Cubs moved into it in 1916. So I guess that's what Topps is celebrating this year. The name of the park was changed from Weeghman Park to Cubs Park in 1920, and then finally Wrigley Field for the 1927 season. So maybe we'll be celebrating it again in 11 years!

Happy Groundhog Day! No shadow here, spring's coming fast. The Harold Ramis movie "Groundhog Day" was filmed in the town next to me, Woodstock IL. My son and I went to the festivities there this past weekend.

I'm loving the 2016 Topps "Wrigley Field Celebrates 100 Years" Inserts! #Hawk8 will like the Dawson as much as I like the Grace. I'll be getting the whole set for sure.

I'm hoping that Lee Arthur and King Kong are in the set.

I am not happy to see that Ethier only has base and base parallels in 2016 Topps. But I am not surprised as he has not been in very much the last couple of releases. Good for my wallet bad for the PC.

Well I've sold 2 cards from my LCS trip last weekend for a total of $65 before fees and shipping. Funny thing is, they are two cards that came from the Bowman Chrome packs that were $3 apiece. If I would have just left the Draft packs sitting there I'd be doing even better :lol: I basically have the Triple auto for free right now

The cubs themselves celebrated the 100th anniversary in 2014 (I was at the damn game!)

And that Dawson photo is hideous.
