The Dawson is a double rip /10. I only saw one available that wasn't ripped and the seller wanted WAY too much for it so he ripped it and I bought it after he ripped it. We can start a discussion here that most will disagree with me on but I don't see how anyone rips these.

I actually paid more for my already ripped card than I did for the one not ripped. Probably because the ripped one is numbered to his jersey. I have no plans of ever ripping the other one. Some cards never see the light of day because they stay sealed in unopened boxes. These cards get pulled and stay hidden for a different reason.

That's pretty cool. I tried and tried to get one of these unripped, but obviously I was unsuccessful. There isn't a card inside the rip card that would make me want to rip it. When these came out and I made this statement someone said what if the Dawson Mini Wood 1/1 is inside. Oh well, I would never know.

Good morning all!
I compare those rip cards to unopened packs of '69 Topps that have a Mets player on top and have been sealed and authenticated/graded. They go for big money and if I were ever to obtain one, it would stay forever sealed, regardless of what could be in it.

Morning. Little dude was sick last night. I think he passed it on to me, as I feel like hell this morning. Have to get through the day, since I'm on vaca all next week.
