Good morning.

Max and Julie are in Michigan until tomorrow.
Going out to the shop since I've only been there once since they moved. I have to clean up the office later today so it will be a card sorting fest later.
I really need to get more listed on eBay and was thinking about sending some cards to COMC to try it out. I really need to dump stuff.
The job is going well but they fired someone Thursday night/ Friday Morning and another either got canned or stopped coming. Add to that the other one who left a week ago and someone retired and where down 4 people not including the new person they hired that has to finish training.
So the next month or so will suck.

Hang in there, Josh. Every time you get paid, it's the companies way of saying "Thanks for putting up with conditions that suck sometimes." ;) :D

The kicker Dave is that there was some weird glich in the system and Thursday night I got some mail from the 401k company saying that I was no longer employed.

I walked in Friday and talked to my supervisor, I ask when she was planning to tell me I was canned, and asked if she wanted me to work out the day.

Did you get a laugh or strange look?

Both. I tried to keep it real light with her since she's stressed with loosing so many people and she's planning her wedding.
The rest of the day I joked about it. "Don't ask me I don't really work here."

You need to get a name tag that says "Cosmo Kramer" and see if anyone gets the reference. :D

Ah yes, the strange look.

When I am on the job I feed on those like a fat kid with a box of Twinkies.

Heyyyyy, I represent that remark! Personally, I prefer snowball cakes in the freezer, but Twinkies will suffice. :D

I peel the marshmallow off, saving the best for last and eat the chocolate cake first. We go to the discount bread store and get packages of two snowball cakes for $.25 each. Life is good! :D

It sucks, but I miss peanut butter 1000% more!

Haven't been allowed to eat it for two years (though I do have a little chocolate once every 6 weeks) 8-)

Couple months ago, doctor said I HAD to lose weight, so I stopped snacking and only have dessert once a week. I have been eating more healthy food, cutting out junk food and only having fast food once or twice a week.

I have lost 15 pounds! :o

Andrew - Sucks for no peanut butter as well...at least it sounds like for the right reasons. CONGRATS to 15 less pounds as well!!! Keep it up and you will hit your goal at sometime :)

Jesse - We are doing tons of camping and such. Jen already is off and she is in Nebraska as she is part of a wedding. She left yesterday morning for that. Her, her sister, niece and mom will be driving over to Bend, Oregon from Sunday into Monday. I will be driving down solo myself and will meet them there Monday afternoon. We start the first half camping at a river and we are scheduled for a river rapid float, 2 cave spelunking expiditions and a couple 5+ mile hiking trails. After 4 days of all that we then drive down as a group to the border of Oregon/California and will be staying in tree houses (I'll post a link shortly for that) and we are scheduled to do zip lines and tree climbing. After 3 days of that the Nebraksans will be driving back home but then Jen and I will drive back up via the 101 and camp near Astoria or Cannon Beach or if too tired we will just rent a little cabin or something :)

Ty - Forward!

If you get a chance, you should visit Klamath, California near the Oregon/Cal border. A place called Trees of Mystery is fantastic! They have a gondola ride that takes you through the treetops.

Alex, sounds awesome! We're hoping to go to the Island for a few days, come see you guys, then head to Portland for a couple days. Taking 2 weeks after the wedding.
The Nor Cal, Ore, Was (PNW) is amazing. I'm just glad I live so close. Some day soon we will probably move half way from Calgary and Seattle.
