Good morning everyone.. Just getting ready to go to work..

I ended up watching a few of the old World Series games yesterday as well.. I enjoyed the Yankees/Brooklyn games as I was able to see Campy play.. Then the Dodgers/Twins where Koufax only had his fast ball and not his curve working.. He only won 2-0.. Some great games!!

Hope everyone has a great day..

Yeah, last night I saw the Tigers/Cards from '68. Big fan of the 68 Tigers, myself.

Good Morning, Andrew! Can't stay long, the MLB Network is airing the 1969 World Series!!! :D :D :D Even though I know how it turns out, (YAAAA!) I'm still going to watch it. I'm hoping to catch a glimpse of a 9 year old 69MetsFan and his mom in the stands behind home plate!

Jeff - Who said anything about being dirty?? How was the xmas in Indyland??

Dave(wide) - Trip was a blast, but after 10 days I couldn't wait to get back home  I always look forward to shooting all the guns...Jen has an awesome Uncle Don who was a teacher for the Olympic shooters throughout the 80's and 90's so he has over 300 different guns and has the most knowledge I have ever heard. The one I liked the most was the AR-15 with night vision scope on it 8-) How was the trip for you and the family?? I'm glad your brother is still awake...Jen and I will continue to keep him in our thoughts and such 8-)

Andrew - You woke up to your own snoring?? I usually wake up to the wife plugging my nose when I snore

Kevin - Morning dude!!! Hope you had a little time to enjoy xmas...are your hopeful days off coming anytime soon??

Dave(pgh) - That was a pretty cool cake...you ever check out cakewrecks.com??

Dave(mets) - If you do see your younger self watching the 69 Series you should take a screen shot and add it to your sig 8-)

George - Can't wait to see the break...almost sounds like trying to find the DK Update is like finding the 05 Absolute Update. Is that 2 hits like the first series or did they add a 3rd??

Christmas sucked Alex. Thanks for asking. I got the stomach flu on the Eve and have been in house until today. Lost about 10 pounds. ****** way to spend Christmas. Wife'll probably be next. That's gonna suck.

At least 2 GU and an Auto, hot boxes are 1:6. This is along the lines of ABS-U.

Closest I ever came to this was that they were filming a movie with Jim Belushi at Anaheim Stadium once during a game our family went to. Can't remember the name of the movie, but Jim kept filming this scene where he runs through a stadium tunnel over and over and over and over.....

Jeff - Damn dude...what a lousy way to spend xmas :( Hope you are on the upslope soon, guess you can't wait for the New Year to get here and get refreshed. I hope the wife doesn't get it too bad either...a sick wife means you are sick with her, atleast thats how it is with Jen and I ::facepalm::  Glad the *'s turned out to be Corn Husker...shows what non dirty minds we all have huh??

George - Only thing I wish 05 DK and DK Update had were patch cards...other than that the base card parallels are some of the finest out there 8-) Do you have any Ruth pieces from that set at all?? I know Ryan (yanksfan4eva) had a dual bat/jersey /10 which is one of the more beautiful Bambino cards I have seen. The canvas look is sooooo sharp and the simple border around them really add to the look too.

Hey Alex, got a cool auto card with a Ebay gift certificate that you would probably appreciate:

As a Star Wars fan, you ought to know who this is. If you don't, then turn in your geek card to the front desk on your way out the door. :geek:

Never filled out a geek card. I have no idea who that is. I have watched the Star Wars movies, though.
