Going to support the Graduate Student Employees "Work-In" today. GEO has been working w/o a contract since June and the University wants to slash payroll and benefits.

Good morning fellas. Just another day of work for me. I asked my area manager about transferring to a different city yesterday and it was like his puppy ran away. He kept trying to convince me that Houston is a great place to live and I pretty much told him that unless some Mountains grew over-night and the humidity went away forever I'm out of here in May at the latest. He did say that it would be pretty easy to transfer though. My sales #s are really good so any branch with an opening would love to take me in instead of having to train a new-hire. The months of putting up with BS may pay off afterall.

As to his response - I see where you might find it amusing and therefore lacking credibility - but I know the person whom he refers to, and she's no hobby lightweight. If anything, she's the comic version of our Bob Lemke or George Calfas. Admittedly, and I see your point, an expertise in one field doesn't equate to expertise in others. But that he has the ear of someone who is regarded as a hobby 'guru' does speak to his valuation and credibility.
