It bites that my internet has been crashing every night this week at 9pm.. We have the triple play, so our phone is dead as well.. Glad we have cell phones to call in the problem,, :lol:

Even though my service has been good at the new house, I still hate Comcast :evil:

Chas, we will have to switch to Comcast by Spring, the tress are so large in my hood that we are starting to get bad dish signals all of the time. With the leaves down we will be fine but come the bloom I think Directv is done for us.

does it bother anyone else when someone says they are sending you a card, and never do?

It's good service, and the internet speed is incredible, but you have to keep on their asses to make sure its working right.

Chas, we have the Comcast internet, yes it is great.....but Directv has everything I need :lol: We will be fine I just need to learn the channels all over again.

That's the whole thing though. You don't want to pester someone about a free card,
but in the end, why did they ask for my address?

I actually received cards from "Scottopotamus" who saw that I was going to receive some Sox freebies (for me and my boys) from a giveway, and I have never heard from the original giveaway offer. Just strange....but very nice of Scott!!

Charlie- I hear you. I've had a couple of people within the last month or so say they were going to send me some stuff. I appreciate the offer and generosity. I didn't ask for anything, they offered. I haven't received anything and honestly, if nothing shows up no big deal. I get your point though. Why even offer if you're not going to follow through.


I doubt anyone noticed, but I definitely missed the MT the last 3-4 days. Friday night, we decided to go visit my grandparents (my mom's parents) because we haven't seen them in several months. So we took off Friday night and got back yesterday afternoon. When we got back we went and saw the new Vince Vaugh movie, Couple Retreat. It was funny, definitely worth the watch. Then Crystal wanted to rent a scary movie and we rented Trick 'r Treat. Her favorite holiday is Halloween and she loves watching horror films. The only thing is, most of the newer ones suck. This one was no exception. :lol:

I've had it happen to me a few times. Still waiting on a package from noaskie from the old BMB. On the flip side though, I did it once to a few people and the 94 Dodgers police cards. I got a few replies, and wanted to add a few cards to the package and just never got a chance to sort and add them. I still have the names and address's of those that wanted their player and will eventually send them out. Sorry to those of you that are still waiting. ::facepalm::

I owe chisox a lot of Paul Pierce cards for his girlfriend/wife. She met him at the casino and thought he was a really nice guy. Then I broke my wrist and couldn't get the cards together or out. I might have to do that this weekend.
