May take the day off and list some cards on here/eBay to sell. Or maybe I'll just take tomorrow off and sleep in. Not going to have any work until Saturday.

Good morning. It was sounding like we were going to start the mowers back up at work today. I do know that there are a few things that need to get done before that happens though. Today was also payday for me, which was nice since I was getting a little nervous :lol: I wasn't told what my pay rate was going to be, other than it wouldn't be any less than what I got last year. My pay stub showed up in the mail yesterday, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that I had a $0.23 raise over last year

Last weekend I made my way to Brookfield - a suburb of Chicago that may be best know for having a really good zoo - to check out a place called Galloping Ghost. It's an arcade with about 400 mostly old-school games: think Donkey Kong, Galaga, Galaga '88, Off Road, a few versions of Street Fighter, a few versions of Mortal Kombats, The Simpsons, NBA Jam, etc [all are listed on their website]. $15 admission with the games set to free play.

Some games weren't nearly as fun as I remembered, but others held up quite well. Four hours zoomed by; if not for worn out button-mashing fingers and the promise of good pizza, I could have spent a few more hours there. That is definitely a place worth visiting for anyone who misses arcades frm the 80s/90s.

Morning Kiddies
I worked the garden in yesterday and today I'm regretting not wearing some kind of mosquito spray. I got bite 4 times on my left leg and I'm allergic to the bite location and my leg is a little bit swollen. It happens every time I'm bite by those little vampires.
