Busy day here as well. Shorts, not sweats.
I received a unique item for my Mets PC today from our very own elder statesman, Barry.
It's a signed business card of Rudy Terrasas, professional scout for the Mets!

one year I got a foul or home run baseball autoed by hitter of all that played for Crawdads . Last count 350 signed baseballs thru the years . I've sent out or given away about the same number . last couple years I've given away at least one batting practice baseball per game to under 5 year olds .
If we get a players first HR baseball we will offer it to him - even visitors team .
Mike Greenwell 's son played against us , hit a foul and I gave it to Mike who was in stands . story goes that the HR Frank Thomas hit hasn't landed yet .
BTW ; 200 bats most cracked .

It must be a blast going to the stadium all during the season.

I don't miss many home games . Many stadiums within two hours drive - Asheville best choices for food , Kannapolis easy to get tickets but little shade , Greenville ,SC is nice and hope to get to Columbia - Mets this season.
Haven't gone to Charlotte yet .
