This was by far the most inspiring and heartfelt story I've read in a long time. I actually met Drew in 2012 when he was a member of the Hickory Crawdads. He was on the same club as highly touted prospects Rougned Odor, Luis Sardinas, Jorge Alfaro, Luke Jackson, Will Lamb, Nick Martinez, and Hanser Alberto. I recall Drew being very nice and cordial when asked for an autograph.
Reading this story made me tear, man. I know of five people who've committed suicide and plenty more who've thought about it. As the article notes, it's okay to not be okay. Life has many twists and turns. We all can't go through it alone.
