I can't think of a great comp right now, but think Carl Crawford with more BB's and Gold Glove caliber defense in CF, rather than LF, maybe a tad more power.
Beckham could be the first to make an All-Star team, because playing 2B will allow him to stand out more than 3B. He was supposed to be a solid SS, so he should be atleast solid average, if not better, at 2B. With his talent and home park, he could pop 30 HR this year and eventually become the successor to Utley as the stud 2B in baseball.
I think Rasmus settles in somewhere between Mike Cameron and Grady Sizemore.

Beckham for fantasy- position scarcity, lots of power
Rasmus long term- Already plays great D, I still think he has a very good chance at Sizemore 2007-2008 type seasons.

That would be a big dropoff for McCutchen - who put up those numbers with roughly 2/3 of a season last year. 20-40 is more reasonable.

20 - 40 what is more reasonable? If that is for HRs, I do not see McCutchen putting up 30HRs, much less 40.
Wish we had a "bet board" here where we could place wagers (with either cash or cards) on such things... maybe an idea for the Mods?![]()

He's good but 2B is TOUGH in the AL - Kinsler, Cano and Pedroia right off the top - Roberts is sick as well.

McCutch if he gets hot they wont pitch to him the Pirates have nobody else
Beckham should do well also but I think Rasmus will take it in overall numbers
