for $425....

should i take it? I'd be making a huge profit but I feel that if he is putting up those numbers in the CAL League, god knows what he can do in other leagues.

Thanks
Christian

I'd take it. Remember if/when he makes it to the show, he'll be pitching in Colorado.

Pitching in COL isn't as bad as it once was. Even so, if you're making a huge profit I'd take it.

Its a solid price, but I LOVE Friedrich as a prospect, and think it could become a huge card going into the future. When it comes down too it, I would take the money, and buy some smaller stuff (Elite base, Contenders base, Blue fefractors).

I think you are getting a great price on it.....

I personally would sell. Imagine what it would take for that card to get to $600-$700.....It would take a lot, that is for sure.

I would sell it ASAP. Its not an auto and he will have more cards as he develops.

To put it in perspective, I used to own the Franklin Morales superfractor fro 05 chrome. I paid $125 for it way back, graded it and got a BGS 9.5 gem ming. I sold is as he hit AA for $850, during his huge hype period.

It was put up for sale after he hit the majors and had some success, and didn't sell for $200.

So, that will show that you MUST sell now. Don't bank on the potential of more.

I noticed you had my quote in your signature, I just wanted to make sure you knew I was joking when I said that.

take it and run. It takes a great start in the majors to surpass most prices of people dominating in the minors

His K's will most likely go down at higher levels. What he's done is very impressive ,but look at Alderson and Bumgarner's numbers in AA. K's have been cut in half.

Sell now - when his Topps Chrome Super RC comes out, his older stuff will drop in demand anyway.

thanks for the advice everyone.

I ended up selling it, it was tough to let it go because the card has huge potential.... but a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Good move. I doubt you'll regret it.
