are you going to the aaron one in feb 2012? strongly considering it but an inscription is as much as his auto price ::facepalm::

I'm going in February to the Longoria signing there.
If I can pick up a aaron APOH before then I most likely will.

u burned your $200 there body...Mo signs TTM of course!! and a baseball card signed by him...come on!! you can drive from NJ to the stadium and get him in person inside the stadium or outside the stadium...UghhHhhh!!

Mo does sign through the mail, but he is as hit or miss as you can get. There is also the issue of the postal service. They can lose or damage the mail.

That is a poor argument TB as you can send 200 of them thru the mail for $176 postage and probably get quite a few of them back

Even if this were a plausible feat, not 1 would be signed in blue.

So what I am hearing is blue ink is worth $200 to you?
OK
Ill take the black ink for $.88 any day of the week and twice on Sundays

To each their own, if youve got money to burn, I say go for it.[/quote:beanjcs3]

200$ is not for the card

It is for piece of mind , preference , guarantee.
It saves me money driving to and from Yankee stadium , chances inside the ballpark which equal tickets to games . I wanted blue ink , some people would be ok with black but I prefer blue especially on cards that I have a particular fondness of.

I would have likes to get an authentic Jersey but I didn't have the extra loot for it.
If he does do another one i will be getting a 16x2

OMG I just noticed that !

I guess everyone's trying to do the Zandusky pose in random pictures
Are you wearing a Richard Simmons shirt? :) Can't tell from the photo. Nice auto by the way.

Innocent question: Has anyone ever tried including a blue sharpie with their package for Rivera to sign with? Or is there more to his only signing in black TTM habit?

Maybe he just grabs the first pen that is provided to him like most players when he starts signing - I doubt he specifically cares that he signs in blue / black when he has to sign whatever amount of fan mail / autograph requests are sent.

He may not get to them all but I'd assume he does sign a bunch of them at one time, so the last thing is on his mind is whether someone wants something done in a particular color - hey, it isn't like you are paying $200 in-person to guarantee such things.

Beautiful card. I am a Red Sox guy but keep a Mo auto in my PC because of how nicely he signs (and that whole first ballot HOF thing).

Anyway...could you have gotten something similar for less? Probably.

Would you be as happy with it? Probably not.

Should you be very happy with what you have and how you got it? Definitely.

Good luck on the rest of the set.
