I am doing a show this Saturday and put some grab bags together. I'm just can't figure out what to price them at.

Here is what each one includes at least:

(1) - Relic or certified auto card
(1) - Serial numbered card
(2) - Rookie cards
(2) - Prospects cards
(2) - HOF cards
(2) - Star cards

I have inserted 4 "bonus redemption" cards - (1) 08 EEE base set, (1) 07 UD Masterpieces set, and haven't figured out what I'm going to give away for the other 2 "redemptions".

A few of the grab bags have an auto and GU.

Little info about the show. Around 40 tables, inside a mall, no fee to enter.

Honestly I think all of those would be fine.. I think you'd move more at $3 a pop (I think a lot of people would be willing to buy two or four), you'd make the most money selling them at $4, because I think a lot of people would grab 3 of them. But I think if you do the $3.50, almost everyone will be grabbing at least two of them just so they don't have to deal with coin change, so IMO, that's the best option.

Well, you can always drop the price as the day goes on, but it would be pretty hard to raise it back up. I think the 3.50 option is pretty fair however.

Even $4 seems like a great deal compared to what I've seen at the past few shows.

$4 each/ 3 for 10.

A standard retail pack is $2-3 and you'll most often get base cards, or a retail blaster for $19.99 and be guaranteed a jersey.

Here, for $10, you're guaranteed 3+ jerseys.

Better yet, $5 each...5 for $20. That is the route I would go. If sales are non-existent, then drop to $4 each then 6 for $20 (buy 5 get one free).

You can always negotiate better prices...but listing higher give you more revenue and more flexibility.

Well the poll ended at $3 each, so that is what I priced them at. I had 50 grab bags and brought home 46 of them.

And one of those had one of my "redemption" cards in it and the guy selected the 08 Elite Extra base set. The other choices were: 07 UD Masterpieces set, Conor Jackson auto'd ball (Just authenticated) or Cal Ripken Stadium Star Starting Line-Up and 1999 Fleer Ripken set.

Back in the mid/late 90's when I set up shows on a regular basis I would sell grab bags with decent cards and prizes for 50 cents each and routinely sold out early on. The fad seemed to fade toward the end of my show days, about the time I started to notice less kids walking around the show floor. I noticed a shat load of dice/wheel/grab bag type stuff at TwinsFest and those tables were busy. The price point for most was $2. Perhaps $3 is too high price point.
