If you have a card that is worth big money, should you get it graded right away?

Kinda depends. Is it a hot new prospect auto? Or is it a less liquid card? Some people grade to increase the value, some other grade to have a solid plastic enclosure welded around their card.

If your planning to sell it. Have it graded. Or this "some other grade to have a solid plastic enclosure welded around their card." Or just to have protection for the card.
