Callaspo going to A's for Grant Green

Hope he gets more of a shot there.

I honestly don't understand the trade on the A's part, why trade one of your top prospects for another average infielder when we already have like 6 on the roster. we still Have Jemile Weeks who still hasn't got a shot this year and Nakajima who hasn't been up yet either. Just seems pretty sumb to me I would have rather traded for some pitching or even future draft picks

^ Agreed. Callaspo is just another in a long line of completely replaceable 2B in the A's system. Why move the cheaper player under team control for more years?

Pujols owes him a baseball!

That was pretty funny stuff.

Kyle lohse has done that to every Brewer rookie who got his first hit this year. I think Khris davis thought he actually did it.

Did you look at his stats moneyball style? He probably has off the chart OBP and can draw walks. The A's don't keep players - they bring them through the system to farm them away.

They have a guy like that rotting away in AAA named Jemile Weeks. 2nd in the PCL in walks & runs scored & 8th in OBP who can now also play 2B, SS, & CF. not to mention a guy they paid 6 million to come play AAA in Nakajima who hasn't got a chance. Just seems dumb to me to trade away a top prospect for another average middle infielder.

Something needs to change cause the A's offense is horrible right now. I hope they can bring it all together soon and make a good run.
