Great Gift For My High-School Graduation

We'll today was my high-school graduation. Hard to believe the time has flown by so quickly. Anyway, after the ceremony and a nice family dinner out we went back home to open a few gifts. I got some cash and a few other things from aunts and uncles and finally my mom gave me her gift. She told me she wanted to get me something I would always remember. Before I opened it she made me promise to never let it leave my possesion unless times get tough, which kinda gave me the hint it was a baseball card. I opened up the box and this card was staring me in the face. Needless to say I this card will never leave my possession.

Thanks for all the comments and the good wishes. I'm headed to Loyola University of Chicago so I hope I'll be able to focus on classes and not so much on going to Cubs games. The sad thing is with the way their playing now they'll be far out of the race by the time I get there in August. Oh well I gotta try and look at the bright side maybe ticket prices will fall a bit.

Btw: You will LOVE Loyola. Don't know how much time you've spent in the city thusfar, but the campus is in a great location, and not far at all from Wrigley, Andersonville, and a lot of other fun neighborhoods. Enjoy!!
