I had been searching for a couple minor league cards of Matt Diaz for a couple years, and finally came across this website. The guy that runs it specialises in getting MiLB/College sets and breaking them up, then selling them individually. He also compiles a database of all the extant cards; it's worth asking him to run your players through it, as it ended up finding three cards that I didn't even know about. Ended up buying five cards, including the two Diaz ones---all were less than $2, and the shipping is also cheap. (Cards aren't listed on the website; you need to email Dave Weber through it.)

This is a completely random, out of the blue recommendation; seriously, this is the best way that I know of to find MiLB cards.

frankly, i still find the best way is buying them through the affilliate. most sets can be had for less than $10 shipped. most of the sites he had linked mark them up by a few bucks before shipping.

Another site, that I've used numerous times in the past is http://www.stbsports.com/

Yes, some are higher than ebay prices but it's nice to knock them off when you can.

ive tried dealing with them before. customer service is horrible. i wouldnt waste your money there. always contact the team first because they usually always have past years sets in stock for much cheaper.

Ive dealt with Stbspots many times and they couldn't have been any nicer. Never had any problems.
I'll prob buy a ton more from them this coming season too.

buy them from the teams store? they do have older sets for cheap...but the shipping is just always overpriced. So its never really worth it. You buy the set for $6 but shipping is $7.

the shipping varies from team to team but i will never deal with them again, they were very rude so i returned the favor. I was like fine youre charging $15 for a set of cards. i can get that same set for $5 and i will sell it to you for $10 and you still make $5 from your price.

$15.95 for a $5 set of cards? ill pay the $5 and $6 shipping from the team store and it would still be cheaper. they may be good for older rarer sets but anything within the last 10 years or so and i wouldnt bother with them.

Speaking of getting card sets from teams, my best experience was with the Bats. I was on the phone with them talking about the jerseys I wanted to buy (the last four in my sig), and asked if they could also sell me a card set. Earl Stubblefield, the guy I was talking to, said "sure, I'll just throw one of those in" and sent it for free.

I totally recommend the site and the person who manages it. Great service. Great price on the cards, not the overpriced cards that you often see on ebay or beckett marketplace, great shipping and the guy seems like a really nice guy.
