umm...he won the Heisman Trophy in 1985. That pretty much made thim the most dominant that year. The Heisman is and will always be the greatest single honor in all of sport.matfanofold said:HPC said:Okay, I added Tiger Woods, that was an oversight on my part.
Im not 100% sure on Bo Jackson. He had the athletic ability, but never was really dominant in one sport. He was always a big name, but never really someone who would be considered "one of the greatest". Deion Sanders is the same way
Are you kidding? Did you ever watch him play eithor sport? He was a dominant RB and a HOF'er type baseball player.

Deion was perhaps the greatest cover cornerback ever.

you did well. it has generated good discussion. that's the key.HPC said:I could only put 10 names on the list![]()

relative to his peers, he would have to be considered #1. but, that's not the question. if that were the criteria, Babe Ruth would have to be #2 right behind him.G $MONEY$ said:Its Wayne Gretzky in my mind. A sports show once showed what his stats would be in others sports, it was unreal.

but all those things do not make them great athletes. seriously, Gabe Kapler is probably more athletic than either of them.HPC said:crowhop said:you did well. it has generated good discussion. that's the key.HPC said:I could only put 10 names on the list![]()

Im surprised no one else has voted for Favre yet!
His stats will more than likely never be surpassed (as he has the record for every major passing category and the consecutive games streak too!), and is the greatest QB of all time!
I added Cal to the list because he is baseball's Ironman! The consecutive games streak will never be matched and his attitude has always been right!
Griffey, in my opinion, is one of the reasons baseball has grown so popular in the last 20 years! He is what got alot of people into not only watching, but collecting and playing the game as well!
