Izzy Alcantara karate kicking the catcher was probably the greatest thing in baseball history

If that was from a minor league game about 7-8 years ago, I believe the catcher (AAA - Scranton-Wilkes Barre) was former Florida State Seminole, Jeremy Salazar.

Of course there is this one:

Ventura vs. Ryan...Bo Jackson getting furious. A young Pudge getting out of hand. The Big Hurt playing peacemaker

I love how in both brawls Rafael Palmeiro is just standing around and not getting involved

This one. My boys asked why I admire Nolan Ryan so much. A lot of things came to mind, but this is the first video I showed them. :)

He probably should have done the same thing in Congressional hearings, too.

Here are some customs I did for fun based on some of the best fights! I think I need to add a couple more now.

I'm surprised a company hasn't tried this yet. Just use sticker autos if the two guys don't want to sign the same card

Pedro/Gerald Williams
Nolan/Ventura
Shields/Coco
Yadier/B Phillips
Chan Ho Park/Tim Belcher
Nyjer Morgan/Gaby Sanchez

Hell you could make an entire set out of it.

Anyone ever been to a brawl game? The only one I've ever seen in person was when the Yankees and Rays went at it in Spring Training several years ago. Eliot Johnson is crazy.

Chris Carpenter is a d-bag. Every 5th day it's something new with him, whether it's with an opposing player he takes exception to or his own teammates. Baseball will be better off when he's retired.

Every 5th day he dominates the opposition.

That was a good one. The Braves and Padres had a good one in the mid-80's that rivals it. The benches cleared at least two or three times. Pascual Perez (who was bats**t crazy on a good day) was in the middle of most it. Some fans even got involved at one point. And I remember Eddie Whitson, who had already been tossed, coming back out onto the field from the locker room without his shirt on.

For me it has to be the Braves/Padres game because I actually attended the game as a little guy. My brothers and I were pretty excited when it was all over. I actually remember Bob Horner had a cast on his broken arm and threatened to use it a couple of times when the Padres dared to enter the Braves dugout. I can't remeber how many fights broke out that day but it was a lot.

Here's a good read I remember seeing. Top 10 fights by ESPN. http://espn.go.com/page2/s/list/basebrawl.html

I was about 15 rows behind the Reds dugout at Coors Field in 2000 when the Reds and Rockies went at it. The Reds had hit Larry Walker the night before and you could see things get tense that night. On Saturday afternoon, Griffey came into the game as a pinch-hitter and got plunked on the first pitch and I remember telling my friend that "this could get interesting." Sure enough, in the bottom half of the inning, Scott Sullivan plunked Brian Hunter and it was on like Donkey Kong. It wasn't a huge fight, but it had a pretty good sized dogpile and punches thrown.

Funny thing is that Hunter was suspended and appealed it. While he was waiting for his appeal to be heard, he got traded to the Reds. He lost his appeal and had to serve his suspension as a member of the team he fought against.

This isn't the greatest brawl of all time, but I've always enjoyed Kyle Farnsworth charging the batter's box and executing a perfect form tackle on Paul Wilson. It's the only time I can remember the pitcher charging the batter.

This might be one time I was rooting for the Yankees. Armando Benetiz was a clown. I remember watching this and thinking what if someone gets hurt b/c of this - especially one who has a streak!

I remember thinking at the time that Straw earned his pinstripes with that out of nowhere shot to the dome. Oh, and Graeme Freaking Lloyd, if you need him.

The fight I wanted was Clemens v. Piazza after the bat toss.

Piazza straight up was scared to death. He crawled in a shell after that and never came back out. Clemons would have killed him if that happened. Look at pizzas face after it. LOL

I remember one several years ago when a player from the minor league team from Brooklyn got into a huge brawl. Seems like the batter donkey kicked the catcher and then tore off after the pitcher or something like that.

Also the Cardinal brawl of 2 years ago was good. Another of my most memorables fights was a basketball fight though, it was Ralph Sampson (7'4") against a small 6' guard from the Boston Celtics in the 1985 or 86 NBA Finals.

However the best brawl that I've ever seen was the infamous Florida International/Miami brawl from 5 years ago. This won't ever be beat IMO

They all have pads and helmets on. That should not even count

Personally, my favorite was Gaby Sanchez clotheslining Nyjer Morgan, because seriously...F that *********
That one was by far my favorite brawl ever! I like Gaby and I hate Nyjer. I'm glad I'm not a Brewers fan. I don't think I could put up with that guy.

at least it didn't get as bad as a some baseball riots. i remember seeing one on youtube that actually somehow just turned into a giant celebration when the crowd ran out onto the field and people started hugging. that went in a good direction

lol Carpenter is one of the nicest guys. However, on the field he's a damn competitor.

Went under the radar that this kick forced LaRue to retire.

Never to a bench clearer but I have been to a game where I saw a brawl.
