Figured this might be a good idea for a thread, just a place to post all those sick cards that most of us will never own. I think we can skip most of the cut autos, as there aren't many of those that are actually that rare anymore.

I'd like to start it out with this beauty...

1/1 - Sold for $1,400.

The Munson and Cobb cards are amazing, truly amazing. That David Wright patch isnt to shabby either.

I had that Thorpe in mind when I opened this thread. I watched that auction just to see how high it'd go... yeah.

It's amazing.

And I know Ruth cuts are nice... but not SUPER rare... Well, I think yhis one kicked it up a notch:

For some reason I saw the awesomeness of the patches, and saw that it was an oldschool player and just assumed it was Cobb and didn't really look, lol. And yes, its very very impressive.

Who owns that Upton? I thought it hadn't been pulled yet.

Not sure who owns it. I remember the person who pulled it back in 2006(I think) did something weird like list it while he sent it off to get graded, then it came back like an 8.5. Don't remember who it sold to, but I found the picture in some random person's Flickr or Photobucket while doing a search.

The person with 4 of J Upton's red refractor in New Jersey owns the super and was asked 10k for it about 2 months ago. I don't believe it was sold. However, I don't remember the scan you have is the real super, the auto looked like it has been photo shopped. Wish I did copy the super just for reference..

Argh, that guy has it!? I wanted to make a run at one of his Reds, but his scans were cropped terribly and he wouldn't send me a better one.
