Grienke may have deserved to win, but not by that big of a margin. Just goes to show, when you are the only star on a team you can gain some much need exposure for yourself.

not sure about 6-10 but 1-5 was Greinke, Hernandez, Verlander, Sabathia, Halladay

There was no 6-10. For Cy Young, the voters only vote 1-2-3. Those five received all 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place votes.

Yep, although I'm slightly surprised there weren't more guys getting votes. Recently there have been more than 5 guys in the voting. I guess it was pretty unanimous among the 5 that got votes. Usually you see a couple of stragglers at the end of the voting who get one 3rd place vote.

An interesting side note in the CY voting is that this is the 3rd time in 4 years of his career Verlander has made the voting.
