Its looks like it a store bidding on items for buyers on contract. The items are to broad to be a collection of one person. Our hotel was struck by something like this that was malicious but was a brilliant scheme once we discovered it.

I know a guy who spent like Wossa in the late 90's and early 00's... he would get in about 20-30 wax boxes/week plus whatever high-end singles he wanted at outrageous prices. He was just a normal rich guy in Connecticut, owned an insurance brokerage. People with money have no reason to hold back, they get what they want.

If wossa collected cars instead of cards we wouldn't notice. The fact is he consistently dedicates a large amount of his ample disposable income to a hobby that not many people are a part of. Everyone in the hobby knows this; that is the size (small) of the population. It doesn't take much besides a good chunk of change to get noticed, especially if your ways are eclectic.

1) If people are curious about Wossa, there's nothing wrong with it. Based on his buying he isn't "typical." Atypical things/people cause conversation, etc. Easy for one who actually knows the dude to say "Relax people" or "let the dude be" but keep in mind that to some he is more than just an average Joe. He is a guy whose buying is a fascinating topic

I agree that those that check and check and check his ended auctions are a bit obsesive but so be it


I also think that some made it worse back when Wossa was a "hot discussion" and some kind of used the fact that they knew who this dude was as a "I knew something you don't know" childish game
