he is currently in ext st rehabbing an injury and it is not clear whether he'll report to lo A cedar rapids or hi A cucamonga but i am waiting to see luis "lucho" jimenez. he is a 21 yo 3rd base prospect for the halos. he only has 1 year of pro ball under his belt (08 rookie ball w/ orem) but he led the league in homers and performed well in the 07 dsl

Also looking forward to Aaron Hicks and Destin Hood. Not invested just a fan..
Hicks seriously looks like he COULD be the next Torii Hunter with an arm in center in Minny.

I'd like to see what Rafael Rodriguez can do.

Me too man, should be a interesting guy to watch.

Yes it will. He's one of only two high profile international signings I can remember the Giants making. The other being Angel Villalona in 2006 of course. I've read that Rodriguez isn't as far along in his development as Villalona was at the same age. But that didn't stop the Giants from giving him a larger signing bonus then Villalona. A $2.55 million bonus, the largest bonus ever for a Latin American hitter.

I am wondering why he was nixed from the 2008 BCDraft auto list...maybe he will make an appearance in 2009 BC? Either way, Donruss has my needs taken care of :):
