Dexter led off with a hit and swiped a bag. Good to see. I see Tulo did some damage also. I like what he's doing early on.

no surprise, both those stadiums are a joke.

Ha, so is Petco. It's the only thing keeping your boy Jake from a 4.00 ERA these days.

Me too...this sounds weird...but his BB's are the thing that has me excited. I love his .364 avg & 2 HR's; but the patience he is showing makes me feel there is much more to come.

The Tulsa Drillers play in the Texas league so I get to see these guys play in Springfield....so I enjoy watching and cheering for the Rockies.

No I totally get that. The more he's on base, the better. Big sign of improvement, and it's likely a concerted effort to do it. With Holliday gone, he'll need to be better to take the hit of less protection.

Oh wow good one, i forgot he only pitches at home.

The humidor has worked wonders at lessening the thin air advantage....why don't the phillies have 7 runs?

Right because clearly if he gave up some runs, his elbow is the problem. It can't be that he just didn't have it in his first start of the season.

He doesn't, but the splits don't lie. 1.74 at home, 4.28 on the road last year. It isn't the whole story, but it is his most recent history.

This has been pretty much the norm for 85% of the starters in the league this year. I dunno whats up.
