While I'm actually Catholic, i did grow up in South Florida and went to something like 20 Bar or Bat Mitzvah's as a kid so i feel like an adopted son of David this time of year.

Happy Hanukkah to all of my Jewish friends. Nothing better than a miracle.

Without a Jew, I wouldn't be a Christian.
One of the doctors I work with is an amazing baker. This time of year, he brings in home-made treats, some of which are eastern European and some classical Jewish sweets. It's a may zing. He's from KC and has always been here also. The metro area has around 20,000 praciticing Jews. This is a great time for so many different faiths. I love at work when the unit I work on has an inter-faith/nationality food night. There's everything from Matza to chicken curry to bangers and mash.
