Haren For Sizemore?

So I ran into computer problems before my fantasy draft on Saturday. I completly missed the draft and didn't have any pre-rankings done so now I am trying to fix my team the best I can.

I have the following outfielders on my roster
Grady Sizemore
BJ Upton
Jason Bay
Shane Victorino
Hunter Pence
Jeremy Hermida
Conor Jackson

I have the following starting pitchers on my roster
John Lackey
Jon Lester
Edinson Volquez
Matt Garza
Mark Buehrle

Based on that if you had my team would you trade Grady Sizemore for Dan Haren? I have already made my decision, I was just wondering what you guys thought.

I wouldn't Sizemore can get you alot of HR's, SB's and stuff like that, that count big in fantasy leagues, and your starters aren't that bad I don't think, unless Lackey is out a long time.

Keep Sizemore, he was probably your first round pick. Haren would be what a 7th or 8th? Pitching is cheap, watch the waiver wire and grab the first guy to get hot. And never let who you collect determine who's on your fantasy team.

If that's the case Adam....I need to talk to you about a few trades in our league

You definitely make that trade. But i would also ask to trade another guy you may not want for something better on his team, since Sizemore is more valuable straight up than Haren.

Haren can be used along with all those pitchers, because you can switch them in and out.

Whereas, keeping Sizemore means having Victorino and Pence on your bench where they don't help you at all.

If Victorino goes 290 15 hr 35 sb and you get 17 wins 200ks and a 3.00 era from haren that's a helluva lot better than
Sizemore going 290 30 hr 20 sb and NO help because you didn't have an extra pitcher

IE:, You're trading down slightly in Haren for Sizemore, but its worth it because of what you have on your bench, try to get him to trade another guy in your favor to even it out.

I disagree, counter with Victorino or Pence. Victorino is usually going a round ahead of Haren and Pence is neck and neck in draft position. You're giving up way to much.

He's trading down big time - check any fantasy ranking website. Even trading Bay for Haren would be trading down.
