Is this the first one to surface?

It's strange that any red would show up so much later than the super.
Super never surfaced?

I've never seen it personally, but I heard from a local dealer that it was pulled in San Leandro, CA, and that the card manufacturer wanted the collector to keep it hush so that they could sell more 2011 bowman chrome.

Then again, i'm just a guy on a message board, so take my info with a grain of salt.

I suppose it could have happened but what is the motivation on the part of the manufacturer? They have completed the print run and sold all the product by the time it would have been pulled. They are not out anything if that card gets pulled......Distributors and dealers sitting on wax, that is another story.

Supposedly the auto. And of course, the manufacturer has the best interest of the distributors and dealers sitting on wax in mind, they want to help them sell out their product as well. If they can no longer move the product, they won't order more of other products in the future.

What is despicable if true, allegedly a hush package was sent as well. This is what I heard, allegedly.

Wow that is believable. But we will see if it was true sooner or later

Definitely a thing of beauty. (No, it's not mine.)

I opened 20 cases and not one case had anything close to that color.
Although it is believable, he just hit the right players...

Great case hitting the gold harper base ref and a red auto is just sick!!!

But I'd love almost any of those cards there.
My two best cards were a lawrie gold ref auto, and a harper xfractor throwback. (Again that was in 20 cases)
