has the draft order already been determined?

I thought they did a lottery to determine the draft order but I stumbled across an article on ESPN talking about who is drafting who and then this:

It's in the last 2 weeks of May, that mock is going off the odds of the teams getting #1 in order

They explain it on their site.....

until the lottery is determined - NBADRAFT.net simply places the teams in order by record, and the "mock" listed is simply where the player ranks on their board as of now. There is no relation to team or team needs where they have the players currently listed......that isn't done until the draft order is official.
i.e. - Brandon Knight is right now #5 with Sac. , but in no way does it mean Sac. wants him or he fits there, just that they think Knight is the 5th best player.


I do agree though that having Walker at #14 seems a bit crazy. Maybe I'm biased, but I think you'd be insane to pick Fredette over Walker (maybe unless you're Utah).
