I have about 4 5000 count boxes of baseball cards from the 80s through the 90s. I know the late 80s and early 90s don't have a whole lot of value so here is my question.....I was going to sell them for like $10 a box at a garage sale but I know teams like the Yankees, Red Sox, and Cubs have a good following. Would it be worth it to make up team lots of those teams or is it not worth the time? Any suggestions would be great. I love baseball but stopped collecting baseball cards years ago so I'm not real sure what to do here.

Well nothing huge but some interesting crap:

I would go through all of them and seperate an player you recognize, current and recent stars. Then seperate out the popular teams. Sell the team sets for a couple bucks and sell the star singles for .25-.50 cents ea. Sell all the rest of the crap for 10 bucks a box. It may sound like to much work but the cash will add up quick.

Shipping would be a pain.

If you can guarantee the boxes will sell at the garage sale and they take them.... Id go with the garage sale.
