Met Aaron Boone twice. First time in 2005 at US Cellular Field in Chicago.

Second time, game one of the 2011 World Series at Busch Stadium.

Of course. And as big of a name as he is, he was a hell of a guy. Very cordial.

I guess, to be a bit more specific than my previous posts -

Glen Perkins - At least 7 times. I met him at various Caravans, Fests, and public autograph appearances, all between the years of 2010 (I think, I have to check) and 2013. I've amassed well over 20 IP autos from those meetings, on cards, photos, and a game used jersey.

Mike Kingery - Twice. First meeting happened randomly at TwinsFest. I was waiting in line for something, and he had a booth near the line. He wasn't there right then, but he was there later. The second time, he made an appearance and guest-coached at a town ball game on their "Twins Fun Night" promotion.

Dana Kiecker - Once. He appeared (and played in, which was quite cool) the same game mentioned above.

I met david price at a freshman orientation thing when we were both at Vanderbilt (I did not know who he was and that he turned down millions from the Dodgers), and most of the baseball teams of my years there around campus from time to time. I had classes with a most of them as well, to the extent they (and I) went to classes...

I didn't really start collecting their stuff until after I graduated (I collected from 1990-99, then took HS and college off). Met many of them since around the majors/minors.

I met Sean Burnett at a Pirates game a few years ago. I didn't tell him I super collected him but shook his hand, got a picture with him, and wished him luck. He was traded away a few weeks later. :)

Had the pleasure of visiting with Ripken and Peyton Manning on two separate occasions. Both came to my alma mater for speaking engagements. Both interactions were great.

Not that I collect them (I collect Phillies and these guys are that) But the 2 coolest Phillies I have met are Jimmy Rollins and Tug McGraw.
Jimmy was signing at a local mall and a small kid was in front of me. jimmy asked him does he play ball and the shy kid said no im to small. Then Jimmy told him of how he quit when he was young because of his size too but now look at him. That kid left there smiling ear to ear thinking about playing ball once again
Tug McGraw was so nice to me. He even got up and googled over my niece in her stroller. I had a pic signed and thought later I should of got a card and he said go get a card and then he signed that for free for me as we talked about the 1980 world series.
2 great Phillies guys!
