Definately one of the sweetest patch cards I've ever seen. Just waiting for a nice Ripken patch to drop, as the two that have surfaced so far haven't done it for me.

I think they are doing a disservice by numbering them all 1/1, and I actually think that it hurts prices. There was an article in Beckett a number of years back that presented a really interesting and compelling case, that when companies make the serial numbers too low, it eliminates set builders from really going for the set. If they would have made those all /5 or so, I imagine some set builders would have gone for it. Really just a psychological thing, but I think the article had a good point.

That isn't a patch. That's 1/10th of a patch

That isn't a patch. That's a damn jersey with pinstripes

Someone's on a noble crusade to deflunk Topps, what an honorable man.
I'm pretttttttttttty sure Topps doesn't advertise that Maris as a patch, they are just jumbo game used.
And could that other Boogs patch be from the fin or wording on the original D-rays Jersey?

I completely agree with you. Most of the jumbo swatches on Ebay are the plain jerseys, and every one is numbered 1/1 and a slightly different color. What are they going to put in the checklist? Jumbo green, jumbo light green, jumbo dark green...etc.? If they had numbered them all then I would have considered going after the set. As it is right now, if I bought one of each player they would be a bunch of random colors and they wouldn't look right. They are selling for much more than I thought they would. The swatch isn't that much bigger than a jumbo Absolute TOTT jersey, but they're selling for many times more purely for the 1/1.

I don't plan on buying any jersey cards, but I hope that Topps numbered them with a J on the back and a P on the back of the patch cards. If not, then I'll have to be wary of buying patches from this set.

That's part of a Diamondbacks jersey, folks. Wade Boggs never played for the AZ

But hey, at least they got this one right

I wonder how many others are blatant fakes?

You are wrong on this one.
Take a look at the pic below, you can see the colors you are questioning in the DE and the RA
