I wouldn't say they've lost their luster at all. They are still very popular and they remain "the RC". Its still a must have RC for the serious collector and remains the RC that the casual collector picks up too.

Any reason that your asking this? do u know something we dont know?

Crosby psa 10s are still getting over $400.

I agree. Still the staple RC that is always in demand. Generally collectors who cannot afford the Cup, Ice or SPA stuff clamour to this card. They always have a nice design and great photography.

Not from what I have seen. The most in demand cards for any given year are Young Guns. Based on how many people want them, and can obtain them. There are lots of collectors who want Cup RCs, but aren't able to attain them.

One thing I wish they would do with Young Guns is make them serial #'d. Other than that, I really can't complain. They always have a nice look to them, not only design wise, but the photos used are top notch.

I can definitely say I had one of those "holy shat" moments when I pulled my Patrick Kane Young Guns card because I knew I would never be able to afford a copy of his Cup RC, let alone justify spending that amount of money on a single card.
