Nice, how long before miguelcabrera comes in to post scans of his with a quirky remark?

Does he have a stash of them?
I forgot where I bought my int'l refractor of Dunn...i think he had like 10 of these things...craziness...

I haven't seen a lot of 9s though...

Since he hasn't done it yet, I will.

That is pretty sweet to score a 9, I always assumed it was a very tough set to grade well. Congrats though

the one miggy card you own cost more than any miggy card i have ever bought.....congrats

How many BGS 9's have you bought with these subs
(Centering 10, Corners 9, Edges 9, Surface 9.5, Autograph 10)

I know...subs don't mean anything to you ...yawn...

Just for fun...
I bought a BVG 9 Rickey Henderson with some high subs...dont recall exactly, but something like 2 10's and 2 9s. A regular BVG 9 at the time sold for about $300, and I paid $500 for it and later sold it for $1000 to a collector that was convinced he could cross it over to a PSA 10...whether it did or not, i will probably never know.

Point is, this card is tough in 9.5, so people with deep pockets may have to settle for a 9, but they will pay for a nice one.

I love the young wisecrackers...

---
just re-read your initial statement, I am not sure I was reading it correctly? Sounded at first like you were being sarcastic saying i overpaid, but maybe I misread you?

It's not my only miggy i own...i have a couple others.. :D

Isn't the holder the only thing that differentiates the Hawaii Trade Show version from the regular? If you send it to get graded, will the label still reflect the different distribution?

Yeah that is the only difference, it is the same card just not distributed. It should grade 9.5 imo.
I will ask to have the label reflect as it does now.

It should grade a 9.5?

A.) Do you even have the card in hand?
B.) Have you ever had a Miguel Cabrera TT AU?

He's probably making a statement like that because it's never left that case that it's in? So it's essentially uncirculated, or at least a heck of a lot less circulated than other versions.
