I wish I could be of more help. I am sure you saw the Elite auto /25 sold for $500.

THe best way to figure it out is, lets brainstorm some of the best elite auto 1/1's the last 5 years, and try to track down sale prices.

Jason Heyward
Madison Bumgarner
David Price
Buster Posey
Mike Trout
Brandon Belt
Matt Moore
Josh Bell - $750
Trevor Bauer - $650

I sold a Contenders Championship Ticket Mike Stanton auto 1/1 for $1400 when the product hit. It would probably sell for $2000+ now.

Hope this helps,
Allen

While this approach seems reasonable, the sale of the Stanton Elite /25 for $500 obviously changes things quite a bit. I have also had numerous offers of 750-800+ for my Gold /5.
I know the Price Elite got 1K, the Heyward I owned for 1200 and sold for 1600. He got hot a month later and it re-sold for $2500.

I'm not sure where exactly this fits into things, but I'm sitting on a fairly decent offer as of now. I just feel like its not the type of thing I want to undersell, because it probably is his best card on the market (obviously the super would be better if pulled).

Stanton stuff has been going up a lot recently too, check out completed auctions.

If he hits 40 HR this year, wouldn't this be a $5k card?

$5k might be a bit of a stretch but yeah, it should be worth a good bit.

Allen - 2k is probably about right for that card. I do see Elite being a bit better than the Contenders due to Elite sticking around routinely and the Contenders 1/1 set being a one-time thing.

Even at $3k, you are talking about an ALL NEW price range for a single Elite Extra Autograph.

If the numbers NIko has laid out are correct, $2500 is the highest an elite extra Auto has ever sold for. MIght be tough to get to $5,000 for an airbrushed card. Not ruling it out, but a 40 HR season batting .255 aint getting it done. At least that is my opinion.

I this Stanton is a beast. The next couple years will go along way to determine if he is a superstar, or a little bit better mark reynolds. I am hoping for the former of course.

I paid $475 for the Posey. I think I sold it for $1,100 the week he got called up.

that Stanton is sick, whoever ends up with it will be happy I'm sure.

I'm the guy who picked up the Bauer--it looks great. Though I must say the die-cut in previous year's Elites is more aesthetically appealing in my opinion:

I agree with skrip 40 hrs is not gonna increase that card much at all. His expectations might be a bit high right now. I think for him to sustain his prices he will need to hit close to 40 hrs.

I couldnt be happier at the elite /25 for 500. I paid 125 for mine off sharon who is everyone says is a tough dealer to deal with.
