Picked this up for my Ted collection as I have never seen this "issue" before. I quickly thumbed through my Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards (which is 1800+ pages) and have not found it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The photo is used on various Ted Postcards like this-

Thanks in advance for your sleuthing.......

I don't know for sure, but it looks like a TCMA release.

I search daily for "Ted Williams" and this card has never come up that I can recall. I did a TCMA search on the 4 names and found nothing similar. I also believe most of the TCMA cards are identified in some way.

Thanks for the response......any other ideas?

If it is actually vintage then I would ask fkw. The guy is a wealth of vintage knowledge.

My opinion, based on the lack of catalog information and the snow white cardboard and great condition, is that they are from a modern era, unlicensed set.
Or maybe one of the many Renata Galasso sets from the 70s and 80s. I know Larry Fritsch made a few vintage style sets too. However, those two dealers usually had full card backs.
There were a lot of unlicensed sets of vintage stars made in the 80s.

Thanks for your 2 cents. I also doubt these are vintage but I just like being able to identify items in my collection. These were worth the small price.

not sure of the exact age, but I believe these are a modern set of postcards (1980-90s?).... Ive seen them a few times but never paid attention to them much. I run into the Ruth alot with my searches for "Babe Ruth Postcard"

Im sure they are not cataloged in good catalogs....

PS I also have one of the TWilliams ca1950s fan mail postcards signed by him/clubhouse
this is mine
