I am sure its buried in posts but I wasn't sure of a good way to search what the rough pricing estimates for each color in the bowman rainbow...ie a refractor is worth 1.5x base, a blue 1.5x refractor, etc all the way up to the Super. Any insight appreciated - thanks!

That's a rough estimate but check ebay completed sales for real-market value pricing.

It really depends on the player. You'll get a higher ratio on the better guys and on autographs. This isn't exactly what you're looking for, but there are enough cards in there to give you a decent idea. The only caveat here, is that people rarely buy Refractors that are worthless because shipping adds too much to the cost.

Bowman Color AUTOGRAPHED AVG NON-AUTO AVG
Refractor $22.52 $12.16
Xfractor $31.03 $9.53
Blue $46.61 $13.09
Gold $95.50 $22.71
Orange $120.10 $26.52
Red $173.81 $45.27
Super $789.49 $546.62

Great stuff - you've been thanked sir! Using that I put together a little table to relate each refractor to eachother as a percentage of average sales price. It should paste into Excel nicely if others like...pasted in funny here.
COLOR Ref Xfractor Blue Gold Orange Red Super
COLOR Avg. Price $22.52 $31.03 $46.61 $95.50 $120.10 $173.81 789.49
Ref $22.52 100% 73% 48% 24% 19% 13% 3%
Xfractor $31.03 138% 100% 67% 32% 26% 18% 4%
Blue $46.61 207% 150% 100% 49% 39% 27% 6%
Gold $95.50 424% 308% 205% 100% 80% 55% 12%
Orange $120.10 533% 387% 258% 126% 100% 69% 15%
Red $173.81 772% 560% 373% 182% 145% 100% 22%

I was just looking at this today because I'm trying to decide how much to offer a Mike Foltynewicz Orange Refractor Auto. When looking at other Oranges from 2010 Draft I noticed a strange thing.

Here's completed sales (rough numbers) on Chavez Clarke:
Base - $4
Refractor - $8
Blues - $22
Gold - $120 <----- That's a hell of a jump from blue to gold
Orange - $150

Obviously, sometimes the ratios mean nothing in a bidding war. Low end Clarkes are some of the weakest selling, yet his rare stuff has serious action.

For Deck McGuire:
Base - $6
Refractor - $9
Blue - $22
Gold - $40 & $56 (seems more reasonable of a gap between blue and gold)
Orange - $74

This seems to fall in line with the ratios better, but there's a wide gap in the two gold sales which influence greatly the ratio calculation.

For Foltynewicz:
Base - $5
Refractor - $10
Blue - $25
Gold - $60
Orange - ?????

Based on the rough ratios, what should the Folty be?
