A guy purchased a big ticket thing from me, and there was a bit of confusion, and after a week and a half, he opened a Paypal dispute (freezing several hundred dollars in funds.)
The card has been received according to delivery confirmation, and he had to sign for it. However, he still has not removed the Paypal claim and the funds are frozen. I've sent him emails through Paypal and Ebay, but he hasn't responded to any of them.
Should I call Paypal tomorrow and get them to sort this out?

I had something similar happen last year. Call Paypal. They will try to tell you to be patient, and it will be reviewed within X amount of days. Don't let them off the phone! Tell them if they just look at it, they will see it was signed for and it is there. Make them look at the dispute before they hang up, otherwise you will be stuck waiting for a few weeks.

you can excalate it to a claim online, put in the track # and when there computers
see it was delivered you get an instant refund of your money.

I thought about sending an email which would show a receipt if he opened it and I'd be able to tell if he was just screwing with me, but he closed it today. The only satisfaction I would have gotten out of sending that email, anyway, is that he did know, and he just didn't care.
