Does he honestly think anyone is going to pay that amount ?? or even a fraction of that i mean im all about the 1/1 but for a guy that never even made it and is in the trouble he is in i wouldnt pay 10% of that amount sorry JMO plus unless i missed there isnt even a 1/1 numbering anywhere on the card.

You act like he is really expecting to get that much for it. It's just a high number like that so people send him offers.

And there is a 1 of 1 stamp on it, it's near his left elbow.

I know he cant be serious about the amount but that sad part is he has already declined one offer even though i dont know how much it was but this Clarett is essentialy a bust (IE Ryan Leaf) he cant seriously think this card is worth a whole lot to begin with

Regardless if Clarett is or isn't in the league anymore, it's still an SPA NFL logo auto. Just because you don't think it's worth a lot doesn't mean someone else feels the same way as you. Remember, all it takes is one person that is/was a Clarett fan to put in a nice offer.

You may be right just think sometimes these may be a bit misguided as to worth of some things. Im not disputing the logo itself it is a nice card overall just the player and the value they put on it thats all

But like I said, I'm pretty sure he's not looking for anything close to 1k for that card. The high BIN is there in case some moron thinks it might actually be worth it and to let people submit their best offers on it.

There are a few factors that will make this card higher than you might think.

1) Its an SPA 1/1 logo. Until recently, due to the economy, you would not be able to pick up ANYONE for less than $200.

2) He went to Ohio State. Buckeye fans are one of the crazier groups, and would shell out the money for rare 1/1 cards of former players.

3) Despite what they sell for now, it was probably a $3-500 card at one point.
