Someone needs to invent a scanner specifically for cards. Something that will scan the front and back of a card simultaneously. I can think of several guys here that would purchase such a device; myself included.

Just one of my many multi-million dollar ideas that I'm willing to give away to someone else.

Hmmmm, that is an intriguing thought. I have two scanners and going to try to place one on the other and see what happens. I have a feeling the results are not going to be good, but it doesn't hurt to try. :D

EDIT: After several attempts, I could not get the two scanners to scan simultaneously, but the scanner on top caught the last bit of the light from the bottom scanner and the images was a lot brighter of the back of the card. I think a way to get a perfect image for both sides would be to have a cardboard cutout the size of the card holder which would cut out the brightness of the other scanning lamp.

I am half tempted to purchase another ScanJet and create a batch file to run both scanners simultaneously to test it out.

That will only work with paper documents for duplexing. I highly doubt anyone wants to put their cards through the document part to have it either shredded or bent to crap.

ive tweaked my canon scanners performance so i am doing 300 scans an hour.
also it isnt very often you need to scan both sides when listing, unless you are really
putting both sides in every listing.

I think their technology simply saves cards in 9 pocket pages as 9 individual files...which is awesome.

Their technology is a thousand monkeys at a thousand scanners, making a million scans an hour.
