I love how ppl have a selective memory. You read crap in the media, and its automatically accepted as all Mets fans' doctrine. We were the first people (at least the Mets fans I know) to congratulate The Phils on an awesome year, and pretty much any team that does extremely well or wins the WS, because we're baseball fans.

Phillies fans, and a lot of fans in general of newly winning teams, just love to trash talk because they can now. All the years their team sucked, they all kept their mouths closed, but now that they've finally put together a good/great team, it seems they need to get all those years of frustration out on us Mets fans, and the NL East in general. That's all fine and good, you deserve one year of trash talking.

Other than that, keep your traps shut like the good little girls you've been all these years, and save the celebrations until you actually reach the WS and TRY to win a title again. If you do, I'll be more than happy to buy you a beer next time your in NY.

Pedro, who was incredibly subpar for the mets, comes back as a Phil and dominates while subsiquently nailing the coffin shut.

I almost think certain members get immediate hate based on reputation. If someone else had posted a thread about how pedro owned a team her pitched on would it have been labeled a troll thread?
