Cause the buyer was really buying it hoping for a quick flip in the final 2 weeks of the minor league season when Heyward blew up and got even hotter than he currently is? I don't buy it. I am sure you will get paid.

Smart move by the Braves as there is no reason to risk anything, especially when there is nothing to prove with only a handful of games left. This should most definately affect the MLPOY voting in the other thread. Not that I thought a 42 to 12 to 3 voting differential between Heyward, Carter, and Montero was a good representation of how close (or far) the race actually is, because there is no clear leader. There are quite a few guys on that list that have a good chance now.
