*sigh*

My Heyward buying days seem like they are long gone. I've gotten lucky on a few local and off eBay deals recently, but these prices are insane. I remember getting mad when I had to pay $75 for 9.5 Sterlings.

Maybe if he doesn't make the team out of ST, they go down a bit?

I could NEVER sell mine, but I could be rich if I did.

Anyone still holding is foolish unless it is PC. If he starts ST slow or gets hurt prices will plummet. Sure they could go a lot higher but there is a MUCH better chance they will drop. Make your profit now and hold maybe 1 or 2 for the huge payday.

For those holding in hopes of them going up more later... remember 1 thing.

Matt Wieters. Remember when he was the greatest thing to ever walk on a field???? His Elite autos were super high for a base auto.... and he struggled when he got the call... and see where they are now???

However Matt Wieters played exceptionally well in the last 32 games last season. ;)

He will probably be decent... but unlikely that he will ever live up to the hype that those Elite autos got.

Wow, you've already given up on Wieters?

I can't recall what his autographs were going for, but I can see him being a top 3 catcher from this point forward.

His game compares pretty favourably to either Montero or Santana.. blargh.

my base are listed with a $150 BIN
Sales have gotten near or above that, but no one hitting the BIN
kinda odd
Anything wrong with my listing?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :MESELX:IT

My analysis:

$178.50 sold - two 10 subgrades
$149.99 sold - two 10 subgrades, two 9.5 subgrades
$144.51 sold - one 10 subgrade
$125 sold - one 10 subgrade
$125 sold - card pictured has all 9.5 subgrades, but description does not say buyer will receive card in scan. As this is Jeff's card, he probably has a lot of these 9.5s, or did at one time.
$125 sold - one 10 subgrade
$92 sold - one 10 subgrade, but a 9 for centering
$91 sold - all 9.5 subgrades, with a 10 subgrade

You show a picture of a card with all 9.5 subgrades, but don't say whether the card the buyer will receive is going to have the same subgrades. As you can see above, the cards that went over $140 all had at least one 10 subgrade. I think when you say you have a quantity available, buyers that are picky about subgrades won't submit a bid, fearing they will get a 9, 9.5, 9.5, 9.5 card. Also, you have enough room for this title: 2007 Bowman Sterling Jason Heyward BGS 9.5 10 Auto RC - This allows searches to find you two different ways: with RC, which is one of ebay's most popular searches in Cards, and 10, which people looking for BGS 10s will find. I always put the "10" and the "Auto" next to each other, because the 10 is describing the auto. I don't put "BGS 10", because that's too misleading.

If I were you, I would drop the BIN to $129.99 and remove the BEST OFFER. If you leave the BEST OFFER, and you accept an offer for $125, you can forget about getting more than $125 on any of the other 4 cards anyway. Just my two cents.

Heyward was all over the MLB Network this past weekend, doing interviews and debating if he would be in the opening day OF mix.

That should be a reason for the price spike. They gave him more coverage than any prospect I have seen in a while.
