Yeah, my ref auto is at $155 with 6 hours left. Yesterday very well might have been legit....

Or yesterday's illegit price's could've done what they were intended to do (inflate price's)?

People spending $270 on Xfractors with Blue Refractors hanging around for a couple hamburgers more? I'm not convinced. Plus Heyward didn't get on base 3 times and steal third yesterday on national TV.

It may not have been legit yesterday, but Heywards Spring Training performance today definately improved his prices. 4 buy it nows have been hit today.

I read on Yahoo that Heyward "walked twice & singled", so I'm curious as to how that type of performance would improve already inflated price's? Just curious, for all I know the Yahoo article was incorrect & Heyward hit a HR???? :D

Who says you have to hit a long ball?

To justify these price's I'm almost certain that a long ball (or 5) should be required....IMO 2 walks & a single is in no way "justification" for improvement on a player's price's...:D

Note: I am extremely excited for Heyward & am a fan, but there definitely needs to be a snap back to reality for some.

He is batting 1.000 right now!
Granted, he is 1 for 1 with 2 walks but hey, he is still perfect!

Still not as crazy as the Jay Bruce spike.

I got over $20.00 a chrome.

The Heyward spike isn't over yet (plus, didn't the Bruce spike occur in-season when he started out hitting HR's? I'm not certain as I wasn't into Bruce at the time so I missed out, though I remember the board member's going crazy  ).

I would never sell any of my auto's or parallels, but I did dig out 98 chromes, 162 bowman, and 72 bowman golds (all 2007). I think I need to join in on the Heyward-a-palooza and get those posted.

I really think you should consider to do so. At least a couple...look to buy back after the boom.

Bruce had 2 spikes. The first was when he was named the #1 prospect by BA, the second was during his call up. When he cracked the top 100 list at #1 overall, a blue refractor topped out at $343 with a few other sales in the low $300's and high $200's.

Geez these prices are nuts, I just listed one of my sterling ref 9.5's. Lets hope someone hits the crazy buy it now. Unless he pulls a Longo, I really dont see prices getting much higher.

Offered $125 for my elite auto /100.

What do you guys think? I was tryingto squeek $150 out of it

The only way prices will go down at any point is if he doesn't make the team straight out of ST. If he does I think he'll find some success and there will be more spikes.

If I were you, id wait and milk it.

I'm starting to think I listed the 9.5 refractor too low at $69.99 last night. Oh well, a reputable buyer picked it up.

I personally dont see why the prices have jumped so much, though I do think they will rise more later in ST and if he starts the season. These prices are crazy.

He was also one of the lead in stories on MLB Tonight and then they did a presentation on him after the game highlights.
