I honestly can't wait to see what all of Heyward's cards are doing by the end of the season.

I'm not saying it's not true, but it's a mistake I made when I thought Ryan Braun hit a peak that couldn't be sustained for his first year autograph... so I sold everything I had, and they never really went back down.
If you are selling, cool.. take the money and run, but don't expect to automatically pick up his sterling for 75 bucks in July. Might not happen that way.

This is the price Joe Mauer non chrome rookie cards are going for. Granted, Heyward doesn't have an MVP or batting title just yet but he does have the hype and plays on a team with ample hobby love. Further, most folks cannot afford an auto chrome card and instead opt for the solution of just obtaining a simple card. I would suspect these prices will stabilize or slip when Heyward has a bunch of rookie logo stuff produced throughout the season which will allow money to be spread out over several issues. These will be somewhat limited with Topps ruling the roost so don't be shocked if a future base Topps Update card easily fetches $4-$5.
