HHOF 2009 Steve Yzerman, Brett Hull, Brian Leetch and ?

the Hockey Hall of Fame selection committee will get together on Tuesday and decide on this year's inductees. Yzerman, Hull and Leetch are all eligible for the first time and they are all locks.

but who will be the fourth player?

there are 3 very obvious choices among the other first year eligible players. they are Luc Robitaille, Alexander Mogilny and Dave Andreychuk. I say Robitaille gets in because he is the NHL's top scoring left-winger of all-time, 10th in all-time goals, 20th in points, won a Stanley Cup and the Calder Trophy.

Yeah its gotta be Lucky Luc. Not only was he one of the greats on the ice, but off the ice he was one of the nicest and a great ambassador to the game.

Lots of good choices, but agree it will be Robitaille.

It's bizarre, people talk about Brett Hull as a lock yet brush off Robitaille. The two had very similar career stats, in the same number of seasons - although Robitaille played in more games. Both players are in the career top 10 for goals...and Robitaille ranks #20 all-time in scoring, with Hull coming in at #21.

Luc is a first ballot lock. No doubt in my mind.

I think Robitaille will be in, no doubt. I would like to see Dave Andreychuk as well though. I became a fan of his when he went to the Lightning, but no way he would take it over Luc.
