I had no idea people even listened to Joe Morgan any more.Hell...I just mute the television.

I much prefer to here Jim Deshaies talking it up.He always comes up with oddest and nastiest sounding things(if you have a sick mind like me).I laughed for like two hours one night when he said something about a "walk off job".Yeah...it shouldn't have been that funny but it was.

Joe Morgan = Tim McCarver = Idiots
I will always take McCarver over Morgan.

McCarver explains the basics of baseball way too much, but to the undereducated or under-informed he is great. Joe Morgan simply explains the game he is announcing and how it related to the great teams he was on and that he is in the Hall of Fame.

One serves baseball, one serves himself.

I saw the first few innings of that game. The opening was funny, with the 3 broadcasters on camera. Joe Morgan on the left, Steve Philips on the right, and the PBP guy in the middle about a foot taller than both of them, looking like Dave Attell's straighter, sillier brother.

I cant watch baseball on ESPN. I am tired of hearing how Pedroia is the greatest thing on the planet. How he must have risked his life to play baseball being so small. Rollins won an MVP award while being even smaller than Pedroia and he put up much better numbers. Ichiro is alos smaller than Pedroia and is headed to the HOF. Hell even Joe Morgan was smaller than Perdoia and he managed to win a few MVP awards and made it into the HOF.
How many want to bet Pedroia doesnt make the HOF? Yet every single time the Red Sox play (Thats just about every game ESPN covers) I have to hear the same damn story about Pedroia! Yea, we get it... He is a bald midget, great.

Reason #433 not to watch ESPN.

Reason #434 = Steve Phillips

Reason #520 = Mathew Berry

Joe Morgan just admitted he made the mistake tonight. He said he got the story confused with another no hitter he was a part of, hahaha.

He just said Javier Vazquez wasn't known for his strikeouts.... Really, what career stat sheet is he reading?

Yes, I noticed that too. He circled Vazquez's name, and said he was surprised he was on the league leader list because he's not really a strike out pitcher. I laughed.

Come on guys....everything in baseball is centered around the history of Joe Morgan. He was either part of or created every possible scenario in baseball history. Everyone should know that by now.

He gave Captain Stubing the correct directions to get the Love Boat to the Bahamas, otherwise the ship would have drifted aimlessly at sea and possibly never been found.
