Yeah but sometimes, when you note that something or someone is hot, people who had not yet noticed, take notice and things get even hotter.
I write the FCB Hot List, I'd love to say it has that kind of influence, in the case of Lincecum, it does not.

FCB can be responsible for spikes, take note of the MILB thread and stanton yesterday, pretty much FCB'ers helped take the price from 70 or so to 100 dollars...

Bingo! us FCBers are early adopters lol. I bought mine for $75 and never looked back and dropped it in the PC. The people who bought at $170 defintely aren't members.ALL_THE_HYPE said:phillyfan0417 said:masonphillip said:moxacaine said:pretty sure it has more to do with his continuing domination than the FCB hotlist. Not sure how many prospectors there are in the world or how many people buy cards of Minor Leaguers based on great performance, but I'm positive that there are far more people who buy cards of Major Leaguers based on great performance. Even if the FCB Hotlist does have an effect on the card market, it is much, much smaller on MLB Players, especially those of all-star caliber like Lincecum.
