Well after seeing the set I bought a blaster and loved it. Have gotten 2 more and am bout 170 cards into the whole set with some dupes and inserts. I'm looking to build the set and don't really care about hits. For the price of one hobby box I can get 4 blasters with 8 more packs(maybe more one of mine came with 9 :D ) If I don't care about the hits is there any real bonus to getting the hobby box over blasters? Also saw the Ruth chase was for hobby only I rather have Mantle or Maris and if those are wal-mart or target only whose at what store?

In the past hobby has had better ratios for hits, if you are putting the set together trade bait will be very helpful. however
the odds are so long for both hobby and retail it really doesn't matter. If you get more packs in retail that will
give you more cards but will it give you more SP's? In the end SP's will be what you are looking for to complete the
set, if you have extra you can use them to trade for base. Keep in mind you might also trade your chromes and
GU's for SP's.

Mantle HR cards are available ONLY in single packs at target NOT blasters at target, Maris is in walmart single
packs, I have bought a bunch of these and I think they won't have any GU or autos in them despite what is
on the packs.

I have built this set every year and having trade bait is the best way to get it done. Shoot me a PM when you are
ready to trade and good luck with your pulls.

Well I'm averaging 3 SPs a blaster giving me 9 for 24 packs. Would a hobby box hold more? Have also gotten 2 chromes including a Buster Posey which just seems to awesome to trade away(unless Tyler Colvin has a chrome card lol)

8 SP's per hobby box. Also keep in mind rack packs...they are 5 bucks per, but you can see what SP is on the back
and get only cards you need, or you could buy them from people for 3-4 per.
