the Pens lose 6-4 to the Flyers. Philadelphia moves to within 1 point of the Penguins.

Peter Laviolette and Tony Granato were both ejected with under 2 minutes to go in the game. they were standing on the boards screaming at each other.

the Pens host the Flyers next Saturday on the last day of the Regular Season. it should be an interesting game.

I would bench any star players for that game(Crosby, Malkin, Grioux, Hartnell, etc), things could get way to ugly in that game

they will most likely be meeting in the First Round of the Playoffs so no need to sit anyone. get it all out of the way in this last game before the Playoffs.

of course it could be Pens Caps in Round 1 if Pens fall to 6th and Caps go to 3rd :mrgreen:

How stupid is ******* media to hockey these days. I get see on Yahoo headline about ugly brawl in Pens Flyers game and other news sites saying same crap.
So now a couple coaches yelling at each other and one ok fight on ice is a line brawl ugly incident. It was really nothing. Sad to see over hyped media crying about hockey. When media never pays any attention to hockey.
Bring up Big Mac for last game vs Flyers. I hope game means nothing in standings so we can see both teams play some good old time hockey and have a real line brawl.

sadly I don't think Big Mac will ever return to the NHL at least not with the Penguins.

Busted 3 Blasters of UD series 2 (36 packs) last night. Only card of note i pulled was Sean Couturier OPC retro RC. No game used and nothing else special. Blasters (on average) should have 3 young guns per blaster and 2 of the blasters only had 2 young guns each

don't think im buying anymore series 2 wax. :lol:

Predators beat the Wild 2-1 in a shootout last night. Alex Radulov scores the only goal in the shootout. If the Preds ownership ever wants to make this team a true Cup contender they must sign him and Weber, and hopefully Suter. I still think Suter will be elsewhere next season.

I believe the current ownership group has the funds, and this town is on fire for this club the last 2 seasons. It's now or never IMHO to take their stand.

I really love what Matt Hendricks brings to the Caps. I also think that Mathieu Perreault is a better player than he gets credit for
