I sent Pat Gillick a GPC (government postcard) at his home address, along with a note congratulating him and letting him know that I collect HOF autos (as well as telling him that, as a Rockies fan, I was dismayed at what a great job he did building the Phillies up). He sent it back quickly.

It feels good to get a HOF auto addition for 75 cents!

Got both: Steinbrenner on a Yankees letterhead letter, and Miller's in his book.

It's tough with GMs. Caashman is well-known but is a wild card. I think that your Red Sox look really good for the next few years, and another championship puts both Francona and Epstein in the Hall IMO.

As I stated in another thread, I view Selig as an eventual lock.

I have absolutely no idea about umps, none at all.

I agree that if Francona wins another he'll be looking real good since all managers with 3 or more WS wins are in (or will be- Torre).

Anyone have a list of WS Championships by GMs or owners? I know George gets credit for 7 for the Yanks.
